In the field of high-end materials, aramid fiber is known as “golden thread.”
However, since the substance being filtered is highly concentrated sulfuric acid, the filters must meet extremely strict requirements: no dead corners, no air inflow, no welding seams, and a highly sealed structure.
At the time, very few Chinese companies ventured into R&D in this area.
A turning point came in 2009. Faced with exorbitant prices of foreign products, Suzhou Zhaoda turned to Yufeng—a Chinese company daring enough to take on the challenge. Ultimately, Yufeng successfully delivered three aramid fiber filters.
This breakthrough not only addressed the client’s urgent needs but also marked the beginning of China’s independent R&D in specialized aramid filtration technology.

By 2014, these three filters had been operating stably on Suzhou Zhaoda’s production line, earning deep trust through their performance. After Zhaoda was acquired by the chemical giant Sinochem Group, the maintenance of these “veteran equipment” was still entrusted to Yufeng.
Thanks to their proven technology and reliable service, Yufeng’s collaboration with Sinochem entered a honeymoon phase.
In 2019, Yufeng secured an order for eight filters for the first phase of Sinochem’s 5,000-ton para-aramid project, marking its transition from an alternative supplier to a core partner.
In 2023, Sinochem’s Yangzhou base phase-two 2,500-ton project again purchased 7 filters from Yufeng, solidifying its role as a trusted partner in Sinochem’s aramid supply chain. That same year, Yufeng achieved another major market breakthrough: winning the bid for Ningxia Taihe’s aramid project and supplying 11 specialized filters at once for its para-aramid (PPTA and PMIA) production lines.
