In 2018, the Hengke cationic spinning project was initially equipped with high-cost German APB valves, priced at nearly RMB 400,000 per unit.
To reduce operational costs, they decided to seek domestic alternatives and eventually approached Yufeng.
Upon receiving the order, Yufeng’s technical team assembled a task force to tackle the challenge. Through seven rounds of on-site discussions with the client’s engineers and advanced rheological analysis, a final design scheme was successfully formulated.
In 2019, six custom-developed valves were trial-produced and put into operation. Yufeng’s valves effectively eliminated micro slow-flow zones in traditional designs, resolving issues such as floating filaments and thread breakage.
The project achieved remarkable success, reducing the client’s costs by over 70% while delivering performance beyond expectations.
As a result of this success, the client placed an additional order for 29 valves for the M-line expansion.
In 2021, another 29 valves were ordered for the Xuanda project.
In 2022, Yufeng was again selected for the second-phase project, reaffirming a lasting partnership built on proven performance.
